Where Plans are Made and things happen
CHURCH LIFE COMMITTEES
WORSHIP & CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
This committee is focused on enhancing the worship experience and helping delivering appropriate education topics/studies for adult and youth Christian education. It also helps plan weekly worship services, and ensures and assists pulpit supply.
MISSION & OUTREACH
This team works on ways to meet needs in the community and the world. We try to embody a 'missional' mindset, reaching out to the community and doing more community engagement activities to minister to our city. In addition, we are continuing to explore ways to partner with the Church around the world. The fellowship side of the team is responsible for our community gatherings and events, the Fellowship team works to schedule activities for all ages. We plan our weekly coffee hour, our monthly Communion Potluck, summer Movies on the Wall, and fun outings and events.
FELLOWSHIP & CARING
The Fellowship & Caring team is responsible for the regular engagement (fellowship) of church members and friends of the church aimed at deepening relationships through personal contact, such as mailed cards, visitations, and special social events. It also ensures that individual church members needing care and attention get it when circumstance call for additional “outreach” from the church; those sick or in need of encouragement. They send birthday and anniversary cards to our members, and generally look out for the welfare of the congregation.
